Thank you for scheduling Reiki Therapy with Imbue Lifestyle. Friendly reminder to forward a headshot of your self before the end of today in regards to preparations needed on Elemi's end to prepare for your session.

Please flag and save this email for preparations before your session.

You will be texted a friendly reminder that your session is starting within 15 minutes the day of your appointment. And you'll also receive an "end of session" text that you can use as your back-up alarm if you have a texting chime on your phone you enjoy. 

Here is a list of ideas to take into consideration both before and after your next Reiki session. Remember, your Reiki session is always catered toward your deepest healing, so finding what you are most comfortable with is key.

Preparation suggestions:

√ Prepare 15 minutes prior to session- Your Reiki Therapy session appointments have included the time needed for preparation. Which would be 7pm on Saturdays and 7am on Sundays. Elemi starts your Reiki Therapy session promptly at 7:15pm on Saturdays and 7:15am on Sundays.

√ Let others know ahead of time about your appointment and request to not be disturbed.

√ Set a timer or alarm for the duration of your session incase you fall asleep.

Which is:

7:15pm-8:15pm on Saturdays

7:15am-8:15am on Sundays

√  Drink and eat something if needed. Have a glass of water ready for after care.

√ Use the restroom. 

√ Find a quiet space, park, or beach.

√ Listen to relaxing white noise music or relax in silence (ear plugs if needed)

√ Pull out pillows for head and under knees.

√ Eye Pillow chilled or heated.

√ Take some time for yourself to reflect on or set intentions for your day.

√ Practice OX breathing- eyes closed, focusing on your breath.

Ox Breathing with Imbue Lifestyle

OX Breathing Technique:

Stand, sit, lay down in your most comfortable position. Rest a hand on your belly and heart to feel the sensation and motion of the air within you. Breathe in for 4 seconds- breathing in from the bottom of your belly up to the top of your throat, hold for 4 seconds, breathe out for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds. Give this practice at least 10 minutes of your undivided time. Relax for a few minutes before you continue on with your day.  You can always up level to 5 or 6 seconds of breathing in, holding, and breathing out if you want.

√ Find your most comfortable position.

 After care suggestion for Reiki Therapy - Imbue Lifestyle

After Care Suggestions:

√ Your Reiki Therapy session ends at 8:15pm on Saturdays and 8:15am on Sundays. Preparations for after care suggestions are listed below:

√ Take a few moments to energy and sit up slowly if laying down.

√ Take a nap if time allows

√ Yoga stretches.

√ Drink a glass of water.

√ 5 minute walk in nature. 

√ Journal your session experience.

√ Contact me with any unexpected sensations. 

 * Possible side effects - When a person is exposed to Reiki healing, the vibrations of the person at the receiving end fluctuate. When the vibrations of a person go up during Reiki healing, negative energies and blockages are released from the body. During this process, the toxins stored in the body are also released. The human body takes its time to flush out the toxins, and during this time, people may feel that they are tired, sick, or sleepy. Some might experience tummy rumbles or short lived pain. These side effects are nothing serious and almost always short lived.  I always advise to drink water right after a Reiki treatment to assist the body in expelling toxins, and on occasion, I will recommend rest.  It really depends on the person and the healing. If you experience any severe symptoms, please contact your physician.
